Privacy Policy

What we collect when you ask us for an offer, what we do with it, and how to tell us to stop.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how NextAcre handles personal information when you visit www.nextacre.com, submit one of the forms on this site, respond to an offer we mailed you, or speak with us by phone, text or email.

Using our services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

What you give us. When you look up a Quote ID, request a callback, or send us a message, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, the parcel or APN details you describe, the Quote ID printed on your letter, and the content of your message.

What we collect automatically. Our servers keep ordinary web logs — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and when. We use them to keep the site running, to prevent abuse of the forms, and for nothing else.

What we get from public records. Land ownership is public. Before we mail an offer we use county assessor and recorder data — parcel numbers, acreage, assessed values, and the owner name and mailing address on record — to work out what a property is worth and where to send the letter.

3. How we use it

  • To prepare, send and explain an offer on your property.
  • To reply to you by the method you asked for — phone, text or email.
  • To carry out due diligence on a property we have under contract, including title, survey, access and environmental work.
  • To close a purchase, which means giving the title and escrow company what it needs to prepare your documents and send your money.
  • To keep records of what was offered and agreed, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
  • To keep the site and our phone lines secure and free of abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Mail, phone calls and text messages

We mail written offers to owners identified in public land records. Receiving one costs you nothing and obliges you to nothing.

When you ask us to call you, or you call us, we may record or monitor the call so we have an accurate record of what was discussed. An automated assistant may answer first and take your details before a land specialist picks up. If you would rather not be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will make a note instead.

Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages. You can stop our mail, calls or texts at any time — see “Your choices” below.

5. Cookies and site storage

This site does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics that follow you across other websites.

It does install a small offline cache in your browser so the pages load quickly and still work on a weak connection. That cache holds the site’s own files, not your personal information, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

6. When we share information

  • Title and escrow companies — independent, licensed third parties who prepare your closing documents and hold and disburse the money.
  • Affiliated purchasing entities — a purchase may be completed by a company affiliated with NextAcre rather than under the NextAcre name.
  • Service providers under contract with us — hosting, our customer records system, and our telephone provider — who may only use the information to provide that service to us.
  • Professional advisers such as surveyors, engineers, environmental consultants and attorneys, where a property needs their work.
  • Authorities or others where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them to answer you and to show what was offered. Records tied to a completed purchase are kept for as long as property, tax and legal obligations require. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.

8. Security

Information you send through this site travels over an encrypted connection, and access to our records is limited to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not ask for bank details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive identifiers through this website, and you should never send them by email.

9. Your choices and your rights

Stop hearing from us. Reply “STOP” to a text, tell whoever you speak to on the phone, or email info@nextacre.com and ask to be removed. We will add you to our do-not-contact list, which also stops future mailings.

See, correct or delete your information. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, fix anything that is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

California residents. You have these same rights under California law, including the right to know what we collect and to have it deleted. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

10. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the date it last changed at the top of the page.
