No! NextAcre is a direct buyer of real estate, and the majority of our purchases are negotiated directly with property owners. There are no real estate fees, and unless negotiated otherwise, NextAcre generally covers closing costs, back taxes, and any other property liens or outstanding payments.
NextAcre is a direct buyer. We do not flip contracts to buy real estate. Once we have a property under contract, we complete our due diligence and then purchase the property ourselves. We may purchase the property under an affiliated company (other than the name NextAcre), but it will be a directly affiliated entity.
NextAcre will take care of all the costs. Simply put, there is no easier way to sell your land. You receive a free, competitive quote for your property and NextAcre will cover all the applicable costs:
- NextAcre covers all closing
- NextAcre covers all back taxes
- NextAcre covers all liens or HOA overdue payments
- NextAcre pays Realtor commissions
- NextAcre pays for any required wetland, environmental, survey, or engineering reports - we handle it all!
No, that is exactly what we specialize in! Our team is renowned as industry experts when it comes to vacant land. Selling land on the open market can be challenging for several reasons:
1. Banks often will not finance a buyer to purchase vacant land.
2. Money almost always needs to be spent to sell vacant land, such as surveys, wetland reports, environmental reports, engineering feasibility reports, and septic/perc testing reports. These can cost tens of thousands of dollars.
3. Vacant land has not been proven to be buildable, requiring someone to invest time and money to solve potential problems.
The NextAcre team will invest money into solving easement access issues, wetland reports, surveys, engineering, etc. You will receive cash for your land, and we will invest the money to address any challenges with the land.
We work diligently to get your value paid to you as quickly as possible. Our team is always happy to try and expedite a transaction to work on your timeline. Each state may have different timelines for closing, but we aim to get you cash within 4-6 weeks.

For additional reassurance, unlike many other property buyers, NextAcre always uses independent, local third-party Title Agencies for Title & Escrow. This means the closing documents that you sign, and the money that you receive, will be held and prepared by licensed, third-party Title & Escrow professionals. This provides you with confidence that the documents you sign to transfer your land are being done by licensed professionals who are 100% independent from NextAcre as a buyer.
